Crystal Clear, deep (avg. 67.2', 192' deepest point), 26 miles of shoreline, 8088 acres. There are several sand bars only a short boat ride away that provide great swimming, wading and a social gathering place on the lake. The lake is excellent for sailing, skiing, and fishing.

Heading west from the private Cottage Cove harbor entrance is the deep main body of Elk Lake. The entrance is via a short, deep channel.

Wilderness Bay at the north end of Elk Lake adjoins the property just to the south of the harbor entrance and abounds in wildlife (beaver, otter, mink, etc.), water fowl (ducks, geese, swan, loons) and lots of fish. It is a quiet place in which to canoe, kayak, fish, explore and generally watch nature from the water.

There is a private boat launch ramp in the harbor that is owned by the Association and is for the sole use of co-owners. It is a new, deep, concrete launch ramp that makes launching and retrieving your boat an easy task.

Available with each of the condominium units is an 11' x 40' x 14' high (12' high garage door) storage bay in the private storage building located on site. This is a great place to store your boat in the winter and your RV in the summer. Or, any other of your larger toys!

This is a 9+ acre wooded designated wetlands area which abounds with wildlife such as deer, fox, turkey, and near the water: mink, beaver and otter. This area is owned by the Association which guarantees it will remain a private preserve. It is quiet and a great place to walk around and look at the beautiful flora and fauna. The DEQ has approved the delineation of the wetlands and uplands on the development property.

Like to walk and hike through nature? Cottage Cove has 888' of DEQ permitted trails within its own designated wetland area and an additional 250' of upland trails are planned! The trails wind through the nicest areas of the woods and will be constructed of either raised wood decking or wood chips.

Adjoining the Cottage Cove property is a large nature conservancy of approximately 40 acres. It is an isolated area that is full of wildlife and is a great place to watch nature in a pristine setting.

Directly across Cherry Ave. from Cottage Cove is the Milton Township Park - a 48 acre park complete with several tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, playgrounds, skate board park and of course, lots of open space to walk.

There are 19 assigned parking spaces for the boat slips along the west side of the harbor.

There is a small garden-house style building that matches the cottage décor of the condominium units. The building houses the bathroom and equipment room for the west side of the development. The bathroom will be a private, locked facility for the sole use of the co-owners and quests.

Scattered throughout the development will be 8 guest parking areas with a total of 41 parking spaces. These spaces to be used as (only) temporary parking and are conveniently located next to the condominium buildings.

This private area is for parking the boat trailers for slips #38 - #56 and there will be a few extra spaces that may be leased to co-owners by the Association. The area will be shielded from view by a greenbelt.

There is a proposed beach and swimming area with approximately 60' total on the waterfront. There will also be a sandy sunbathing and play area adjoining the proposed waterfront beach and swimming area.

Along the full length of the property adjoining Cherry Ave is an approximately 2-acre greenbelt that will be beautifully landscaped with plantings, trees and open areas. This area provides a buffer to the road.

This Association-owned building will house the water system, mechanical and electrical equipment needs for the development.
