When you choose to become part of the Cottage Cove community, you are entering into a lifestyle of carefree living. Cottage Cove’s Associations will provide site maintenance, management and the framework to preserve your lifestyle and investment.
There is no time limit within which you must build on your lot, and because you own a boat slip you have full use of the common grounds, including the storage area, until you build your home.
All of the lots in the Cottage Cove community have water, sewer, underground utilities including natural gas and irrigation to the lot included in the purchase price. Irrigation is included, but needs to be installed by the home owner. The fully improved lots represent a very large savings when compared to buying an unimproved lot that requires all the utilities be taken care of. This is especially true for lots within 500’ of shoreline, where septic systems have to meet very strict standards. Cottage Cove on Elk Lake Association owns and manages the DEQ approved and permitted water system and sewer system.
Features for Homes
Each lot has a specified location or footprint within which the homes are to be built. That ensures that you know where the neighbor’s house will be relative to yours. To maintain harmony of home styles there are architectural standards with exterior building materials and colors specified.
Several home models and plans are available from the 1,000sq.ft. minimum all the way up to to 3,200sq.ft. maximum floorplan. The different models ensure that you have a home design that you love.
